free screen readers
Hello blind computer users,
admin hear
I know of a couple of free screen readers, that you might want to try out. Note, if you find anymore, please feel free to post them in this topic.
nvda:
Nvda (non visual desktop access) is a free screen reader that you can get from here, and works simular to JAWS. The jaws and NVDA keys are the same, usually either insert or caps lock. you can also learn more about nvda from there website, nvda-project.org.
system access (online version)
System access isn't free to download, but it is free online. All you have to do, is go to satogo.com. Warning: this screen reader may make your computer just a tad slower.
Best regards,
Admin
